I finally got around to watching all of this. It was inspiring and made me eager to work on more documentaries. I love that the director of the last film he spoke about, “White Black Boy” was also the boom op! How often does that happen? Really interesting subjective sound work and it sounded like a great collaboration between everyone from recordists, to video editor, sound designer, Foley artist and director.
