New Libraries from The Soundcatcher, Soundopolis and Boom Library

February 5, 2013 by Shaun Farley

There are a few new libraries out and about town; for instance…

Liquid Metal from The Soundcatcher

Who knew a “waterphone” was an actual thing?! Apparently it is, and this library is filled with some positively interesting tonal effects.

Check out the library here.

Soundopolis

…is a new independent sfx producer that was recently brought to our attention. There are seven libraries currently available, as well as pack of free sounds. Every library is delivered at 24-bit/48 kHz. Head here to check out the libraries available.

Trains – from Boom Library

The folks at Boom are back with a new transportation library. “Trains” seems like a pretty comprehensive library: diesel, steam and electric…freight and passenger…couplings, brakes, air releases…it’s not small. Delivered at 24-bit/96 kHz, the collection is available in two versions. The standard library clocks in at 16GB, and the “surround” version is a whopping 50GB. Check out all of the details for versions here.
