Buggles said that video would kill the radio star. But despite the turbulent history of audio/visual entertainment innovation, here in 2017 amidst 3D films, world-wide online video games and virtual reality, radio remains. From AM/FM on your morning commute though to the 1’s and 0’s of Digital Radio, Streams and Podcasts on your phone, this medium has long been a sonic playground for storytellers.
So join us, bring your ears and leave your eyes behind (only in spirit, you’ll be needing your eyes for most of our content) as we explore the history, creativity within and meaning that Radio and Podcasts hold for us today.
