So if you haven’t heard about Sound Particles yet, I really don’t know where you’ve been. Think of it this way…
Have you ever seen what a particle emitter does for visual effects? OK. Now take that idea and turn every particle into a sound emitter. That’s a gross over-simplification, and Nuno Fonseca might argue for a more refined description, but I think it quickly gets across the engine behind this software. You can quickly generate diverse sound fields with a wealth of randomization parameters that help you create something way beyond a simple loop. The Tonebenders Podcast did a great little review that’s worth checking out.
Our give-away continues this week, and we’re giving away a copy of Sound Particles to one lucky member of Designing Sound Exchange. Thank you for sponsoring this Nuno! The only way to win is to head over to Designing Sound Exchange and join the conversation. See you there, and as always…
Good luck!
