Have you seen me mention how much I love Zynaptiq and their tools before? I feel like I say it a lot. Probably not here on the site all that frequently, but pretty much everywhere else. They first grabbed my attention with their awesome audio restoration tools. I still prefer Unveil over RX’s De-Reverb tool, and Unchirp and Unfilter have remained staples in my “gotta make this crappy documentary audio sound good” tool-box. Then they started making some sound design tools. We already gave away a copy of Morph. This week, we get to give away Adaptiverb.
I know it has “verb” in the name, but you really shouldn’t think of it as just another reverb tool. This thing is a sound design tool. I’ve had it since release, and not once have I gone to it for reverberation needs. I love making weird drones with it, or using it like a granular processor to add unholy amounts of sustain to a sound’s tail. You’re better off thinking of it like an awesome toy. You dive in and explore, and never quite know what you’re going to finish creating…but it will likely sound awesome.
And we’re giving it away for free this week! Head over to DSX, read up on the rules, and join the conversation for your chance to win.
