Google Announces “Omnitone” Spatial Audio For The Web

GoogleWebVRAudioIn a recent blog post on the it’s Open Source Blog Google announced the Omnitone Project which aims at bringing Spatial Audio and Ambisonics to the Web. Omnitone is an Open Source spatial audio renderer, based on the Web Audio API with cross-browser support and head tracking. More information and a live demo head can be found at the official project page.
