Only Lion or Mountain Lion. Shit!!

Never tried SoundForge in my life. How is it compared to ProTools?
Jack Menhorn says
Sound Forge is seen more as a mastering suite. A common workflow would be say: Designing a sound in Pro Tools THEN bringing that into Sound Forge for final tweaks.
Sound Forge lacks multitrack editing and is also destructive in contract to DAWs like Pro Tools and Logic Pro.
Arthur Hendriks says
It has nothing to do with Protools. Soundforge is a wave editor and specialized in editing waves. You can edit your wave-files in Protools but with Soundforge it is a lot easier and more advanced. There is a try out version available for you to download. I use to work with the programs when I was on PC many year ago. I never find any editor which comes close to it, for usability and workflow. A must have for Mac users (and PC of-course). Finally on the Mac. Makes me happy.
