December 6, 2010 by Miguel Isaza

The Santa of sound effects has arrived! Ric Viers, author of “The Sound Effects Bible” is giving away a free copy of the new Sound Effects Bible Hard Drive with 5,000 sound effects.

To win, you will need to submit a video explaining or showing how “The Sound Effects Bible” has helped you record or create sound effects. The video must be submitted before December 20, 2010 and should be no longer than 60 seconds. Ric will personally select and announce the winner on Christmas morning on the Sound Effects Bible Facebook Page.

All entries will receive a coupon for 25% off the hard drive.

About The Sound Effects Bible Hard Drive:

The Sound Effects Bible Hard Drive is a collection of 5,000 sound effects recorded by Ric and his team at the Detroit Chop Shop including nearly 2,000 previously unreleased sound effects. All sounds are 16-Bit/44.1KHz broadcast .WAV files that are mastered with metadata and sorted into 25 category folders (including Ambiences, Explosions, Fire, Foley, Horror, Production Elements, Science Fiction and Warfare). The hard drive will be released in January 2011 with a retail price of $999, so win it before you can buy it!
