Music cataloguing database and marketplace service Discogs recently launched Gearogs, an open platform which aims to create the worlds largest database of audio equipment. In an interview with Thump, Discogs CEO & Founder Kevin Lewandowski says:
I’ve also been focusing on what we call our meta-projects. Like applying the Discogs concept to other things. We’ve started [a music gear database] Gearogs, because gear is so close to records.
