The Keyless Piano Body by Stephan Marche
Plucked and Prepared Piano Strings The Keyless Piano Body is a Kontakt Patch library that features an abandoned upright piano without keyboard. The library encompasses the results of three extensive recording sessions and features the wonderful and reverberant sound of these piano remains. For session 1 and 2 the body was brought to a studio and literally laid back so that various things like plastic balls, felt balls, glasses and much more could be thrown in to excite the strings. At the end of both sessions tons of samples were ready to edit. They now form 13 Kontakt instruments that encompass several precisely tuned pianos plus many prepared piano sets. Session 3 was kind of a field recording gig as the piano remains were meanwhile moved to a rural garden area. The nightly recordings were done 6-channel so that several sample sets from 2 acoustic mics and 4 contact pick ups could be created. Again, the Kontakt instruments from this session feature the sounds of a rotten piano that is lovely and impressive at the same time. In a second pass the piano strings were treated with a stell jazz brush to bring up 3 multi-channel sets with prepared piano-like sounds.
(1152 Samples, 2.5 GB content, 48kHz/24 Bit, 25 Patches (nki), 4 Multis (nkm) and requires Kontakt 4 or higher)

Ferrophone by Wobblophones
Ferrophone is a sample library made from carefully recorded samples of the hand-crafted Neon & Landa instrument with the same name. This instrument is designed for creating dark and doomy soundscapes and creepy atmosphere. The Ferrophone library is intended to be a sound design tool for horror or science fiction themed projects. The signature sound of the Ferrophone comes from two nails scraping two rotating discs. One moment the Ferrophone can ring very high, quite fragile and small, the next moment it morphs into something rough and big that it may remind a user of a scene on a construction site.

Chain Ferry by Detunized / Stephan Marche
Chain Ferry features the remarkable sounds of a 100 year old ferry with a specific drive system. The ferry pulls along a strong chain lying at the ground of the river to cross. This is achieved by a clever combination of 3 drive wheels that guide the chain and prevent it from dropping to the ground. The Library contains several complete audio takes of the ferry in action – from departure to arrival. This encompasses engine start, engine idle, loading ramp noises and bangs plus a lot of chain rattling from various perspectives. The sounds are recorded aboard and from both sides of the river so that the entire scenery can be covered acoustically.

Human Stampede by Squeaky Fish
Human Stampede was recorded across multiple marathon races and captures the sound of footsteps of large crowds of runners. The idea was to capture long takes in stereo with minimal or non-existent crowd chatter to get stereo recordings that are useful for scenes of riots, warfare or even a plain old fun run.
