New Zealand researches have successfully restored a 65 year old recording of computer-generated music, created on a gigantic contraption built by British genius Alan Turing. Turing, who’s best known as the father of computing who broke the WWII Enigma code, was also a musical innovator. But his pioneering work in the late 1940s on transforming the computer into a musical instrument has been largely overlooked. You can read the full story & listen to the recording here.
