It’s incredible. This year is almost over! It has been an amazing year for Designing Sound. We have grown a lot and have had the opportunity to share a lot of incredible material, learn, and create community.
Designing Sound is no longer a simple blog and has become something like a full time job for me. That’s why I feel a constant need to improve it each day and offer more and better content. I want to finish this year with a bang, so there are a few surprises for you this month:
First of all, the new look. As you can see, I’ve updated the theme of the site, with the new CDMcore theme from Create Digital Media. Thanks to Peter Kirn and the CDM design team for their amazing job on the theme and special thanks to Santiago Merino for his help on the DS graphic stuff. I’m still working to improve several things, so expect some minor changes in the next days.
Second, there’s a new brother site coming tomorrow. I’ve been working hard to get it finished for tomorrow, so you can enjoy it during this christmas. I would like to keep the mystery until tomorrow, but I can tell you that this new site will take a lot of your daily hours, and you’ll learn a lot from it.
Finally, expect a lot of cool things coming this month. There are several exclusive interviews coming and also the special visit of Frank Bry, who will share a lot of cool things with us. From field recording to sound design. Will be amazing!

Hola Miguel, la verdad que estoy muy impresionado con el trabajo que venís haciendo, hace unos meses que sigo tus post’s en Hispasonic, pero descubrí este recién este site y la verdad que no lo puedo creer! es GENIAL! te agradezco muchísimo todo lo que haces, es realmente un lujo, y para mi, que soy estudiante aún, una gran herramienta para poder dar el salto hacia lo laboral!

Che te quería comentar, con la única intención de ayudarte, que hay algunos bug’s en el site, vi en un post reciente que cambiaste el diseño hace poco, por lo que me parece lógico…
Te cuento (perdón si ya lo sabías, pero me interesa ayudar)
Si seleccciono algunas de las pestañas de arriba (videos-specials-resources-etc) sólo me aparecen los últimos posts!
Y si utilizo la búsqueda pasa lo mismo!
Y otra cosa es que la ventana de comentarios, cuando escribís mucho (como estoy haciendo yo =) no aparece una barra como para poder ver lo que vas escribiendo!
Bueno Miguel, disculpá que te moleste con esto, pero espero te sea útil… y la verdad que sería genial poder bucear en la cantidad de material que debe de haber en este sitio

Gracias por tus comentarios y sugerencias. El problema que comentas se presenta en búsquedas, tags, categorías, etc. Se está trabajando para arreglarlo pronto.
