Frank Bry has released a new sound effects library called Ultimate Snow, which includes 300 different snow recordings at 96kHz/24-Bit.
The Ultimate Snow Sound Effects Library contains 300 of my best snow sounds recorded at 24-Bit 96kHz over the last 4 years during some of the most frigid and snow-packed North Idaho winters I have ever seen.
Included are snowball impacts, large chunks rolling down hills, snowbanks collapsing, snow sliding and falling of roofs, gritty movements, smooth scrapes, footsteps, bodyfalls and mountian climbing foley.
Also, if you want to know more about the story behind this library, go to Frank’s blog and you’ll find a very cool read. And if you want to go even more deep, we at Sonic Terrain interviewed Frank and talked about different things of recording sounds for this library, including all kind of details in the recording techniques, gear, environment, and even clothes and props he used to record in the snow.
Ultimate Snow is available now at The Recordist. The price is just $50.
