I discovered it quite late, but I’ve been listening it almost every day since to catch up -enjoying it so much! One small feedback: To my ears, sound could use a tiny bit more compression (especially Gordon’s voice) to make it easier to hear against background noise (when commuting, etc.). Thanks for the great content!

I’ll add one little lesson that I learned from doing Tonebenders is that very often people will come up to me with broad topic-specific questions like ‘hey, how do I record cars?’ and because of the podcast I have a ready-made full fledged deep dive conversation about that topic that I can quickly direct them to.

Our marketing is pretty bare bones as well, but engaging with the community on a personal level is always a good way to go. We’re a niche of a niche, so in the end the size of our audience will only get so wide. Its the depth of it that we all take pride in.
