A man of this influence and importance in the field of conservation retires, and no-one notices!

I am deeply moved by his work and I too share his same passion. If ever there was an apt choice for a 2 minute silence it would be to mark the loss of this professional in the field of nature sound recordings.

May his work continue to inspire many generations to come.
