Yeah of course; hands up for production sound man! Its a tough but satisfying position to be in.
I know all too well that you really have to fight and strategise politically on set to implement techniques to ensure you get the opportunity to not just record the best sound, but actually just do your job! haha
But altogether very insightful indeed; from his approach in preparation to equipment choice to on set techniques and mixing! Great interview!
I only wish I had enough banks to supply me with enough credit to do the same! ;) haha
I guess I just have to keep improvising and keep being as creative as best as I can!
It cant be stressed enough: Have the courage to speak up on set! :)
