Very much of it should translate, Fred. Both Pure Data and MSP use the Max language. Max/MSP is a little more user friendly, but nearly every atom I’m using has its equivalent in MSP…though they may have different names (take a look at Varun’s latest post for a list of some).

By: Matt https://designingsound.org/2013/04/02/pure-data-wavetable-synth-part-1/#comment-21633 Sat, 06 Apr 2013 09:53:07 +0000 https://designingsound.org/?p=22484#comment-21633 Thanks for the tutorial, I am having a problem using Pd Version: 0.43.4-extended, in the final step, the pd-extended window doesn’t have the “compute audio” checkbox, it has a checkbox with “DSP” and checking this gives a continuous sound unaffected by clicking the playback bang!
Not sure of my mistake here?
Any help or explanation would be greatfully received, thanks.
