Not sure what you mean. Audio cleaning can sure be tedious, but I think creative tools like this are more about sonic exploration and having fun while finding and creating new sounds. Spectral “synthesis” (a la Metasynth for example) is very experimental by nature anyways.

Well, I have a headache when I have to clean large pieces of audio material. And indeed, I don’t know why. Maybe because of numerous “strange” spectral processes? Yes, with short, slight editings everything is ok, but in Iris it is supposed that you will have to make a lot of various spectral editings.
