Do you mean the MR-1000? I am not familiar with the MR-100

EV RE20 it’s going to
Run perfect for your
Needs. It’s incredible
How this dinamic microphone
Can delivery such a detailed
Definition as a condenser.
In addition, I love the way
It looks, it seems like a
War tank! Rock solid!
Well I haven’t used it
For sfx recording, but the
Low frecuency responce it
Has in the lower register of
A sax, makes the whole room
Vibrate!!! PD: keep it up, I’m
A great fan of your work.
Greetings from Colombia.

I believe that if you’re recording in very hard conditions like the north pole or in a desert, the most reliable recorder is the cantar X. I think that it’s more popular in Europe than in North America though.

Have you ever used it Rob?

Also, have you tried other Schoeps mics than the CMIT 5U?

Too true about selecting the thing to record. You can’t make a voice that sounds like a chainsaw sound any better than a chainsaw with a different mic – it will still sound like a chainsaw.
