Available as either a 192K or 96KHz at 24-bit, Screaming Metal is every bit as the title suggests. From ventilation shafts to blocks of solid steel, Tonstrum have created a soundpack full of metal-infused resonances, drones and – of course – screams.

Blastwave FX, the sound library specialists headed up by Ric Viers (The Sound Effects Bible), have just released a brand new collection of 1001 HD production elements called Hits and Whooshes. Take a listen to the audio demo on the website and you’ll hear a whole host of intergalactic frequency sweeps and bone-breaking hits. A great set of go-to sounds for those in need of transition or impact elements in a hurry.
