Icy Snow HD
Icy Snow HD came about in March 2015. Here in Michigan, we already had around a foot of snow on the ground, when we also got freezing rain and sleet. This created a layer of fairly smooth ice on top of the snow. So I ran out there with my Sound Devices 702T, and a RØDE NT-4, and started recording!

Jaws of Life offers the sound of scissors cutting, crushing and spreading apart doors and hoods. Glass-breaking sounds were created by sledge hammering windshields and exploding windows. Car parts were dragged on pavement. Great for cutting scenes with scattering debris.

Over a year and a half in the making with thousands of rounds of ammunition shot, this one of a kind collection showcases higher caliber projectiles passing by inches from multiple sets of extended frequency response microphones.
Recorded in three unique locations with a variety of suppressed handguns and high powered suppressed rifles. The locations include a wide open 380 acre field, a farm ranch with a asphalt roadway and a high mountain dirt logging road. The distances the bullets were shot range from 300 feet to over 1000 feet. Most of the collection is recorded with two sets of stereo microphones and two mono microphones.

Whoosh, Swoosh & Swing
Whoosh, Swoosh & Swing is a collection of 315 “whipping” sounds on 58 tracks. The sounds were made from a variety of objects including golf clubs, swords, spatulas, fishing poles, cloth, the human mouth, and more. Included in the collection are versions of some of the sounds sped up or slowed down using analog tape, giving them a vintage kung-fu-movie feel. Perfect library for fight scenes!
The ‘Tibetan Monastery Atmospheres’ Sound Archive contains recordings from the everyday monastic environment of Tibetan monks.
