Jordan Fehr FX is a new independent sound effects library founded by Jordan Fehr, freelance sound designer based in Ohio.

The first release is called Power From The Past, a collection of recordings taken from a made-and-break engine.

Power From The Past is my first sound effects library for other designers. It is a collection of recordings of industrial/farming make-and-break engines from the end of the 19th beginning of the 20th century. They are owned an maintained in Canfield, Ohio by Norm Anderson.

A make-and-break engine is an engine which controls power/speed by making (enabling) and breaking (disabling) the ignition cycle.

All sounds were recorded and mastered at 96kHz/24-Bit. Recordings were made with a Tascam HDP2, Rode NTG-3, and an AKG411.
